It’s been a weird 2020. First we got a bunch of game delays, then we hit issues with new consoles not being revealed, and now GDC has been cancelled with E3 still planning to forge ahead. Yet, where will this all lead? With health concerns abound, should these trade shows adopt a much simpler State of Play format? Would they lose out on money to great to succeed in such a format? And where does this leave PS5 devs? Should the supposed flash memory and potential console delay lead us down the path of considering a delay of consoles, and more devs adopt Square Enix’s approach of staying on the PS4? Finally we briefly highlight how nice it has been to be able to tackle our backlogs, and look forward to the games coming out this week. It’s all right here inside, so come on in!
